Terms of Service
Last updated: October 4, 2026 · Version 2026-10-04
These terms are an agreement between you and [COMPANY NAME] (“we”, “us”), the operator of this website-building platform (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use the Service for a business, you agree on its behalf.
1. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and give accurate sign-up details.
- Keep your password (and two-factor codes, if you use them) private. You are responsible for everything done with your account.
- Tell us right away at [LEGAL EMAIL] if you think someone else is using it.
2. Your site and content
- You keep all rights to what you publish. You give us a limited licence to host, copy, display and process it only to run the Service for you.
- You are responsible for your content and for having the rights to it, and for the information you collect from your visitors (for example through lead forms). For that visitor data you are the controller and we process it for you under the Data Processing Agreement.
- You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may remove content or suspend a site that breaks it or the law. Copyright complaints follow our DMCA policy.
3. AI features
- The site chatbot and AI editing are generated by third-party AI models. Answers can be wrong or incomplete. Review what the AI writes before you publish it.
- AI features are not a substitute for professional advice. Sites for medical, legal or other regulated work must not use the chatbot to give such advice; we add safeguards, but you remain responsible for what your site tells visitors.
- Questions and site text are sent to the AI provider listed in our sub-processors to produce answers.
4. Plans, trials and payment
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until you cancel. Prices are shown on the pricing and billing pages and may change with at least 30 days’ notice.
- A free trial ends on the date shown. If you don’t add a card, your site moves to the Free plan; your content stays. Adding a card during a trial starts a paid plan straight away.
- Changing plans takes effect immediately and the price difference is charged or credited pro rata.
- You can cancel any time from the billing page. You keep the paid plan until the end of the period you paid for, then move to Free. Payments are non-refundable except as described in the Refund Policy or required by law.
- If a payment fails we will retry it. If it still can’t be collected, your site moves to the Free plan.
5. Our service
- We work to keep the Service available and secure but don’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copies of important content (you can export your data from the admin panel).
- We may change or discontinue features. We’ll give notice of changes that significantly reduce what you pay for.
- The Service uses third-party providers; their availability is outside our control.
6. Suspension and ending the agreement
You can stop using the Service and delete your data at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or doesn’t pay, with notice where reasonable. After closure we delete your site data as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You agree to cover our reasonable costs from claims caused by your content or your breach of these terms.
8. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE], USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the courts located there, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them locally.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we’ll notify account owners by email or in the admin panel before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new version. We record which version you accepted when you signed up.
